Precision Meets Recovery
Pact is a connected muscle-health system designed to help people understand their bodies and recover smarter. It pairs a handheld scanner that measures muscle readiness with a smart percussive massager, creating a feedback loop between data and action – the first recovery device that truly adapts to your physiology.
Complementary Forms
The bell-shaped form of Pact Pulse is a study in versatility. It can be held by the central handle for traditional massage applications, or gripped directly by the head for precise, controlled pressure on smaller muscle groups.
The smooth radius and weight balance were iterated through dozens of foam and 3D printed prototypes, refined through testing on arms, legs, and shoulders to achieve comfort, leverage, and intuitive alignment with the body.
The result is an object that feels anchored and confident in the hand, yet disappears in use – an extension of the user’s intent rather than a machine acting upon them.
Inside & Out
Pact’s internal architecture is tuned for precision and control. Each component is positioned to balance weight, isolate vibration, and maintain a direct, responsive feel. The motor and sensor assemblies are mounted with exact tolerances to eliminate rattle while preserving mechanical clarity.
The design favors simplicity over spectacle – clean joins, accessible fasteners, and materials that align under compression rather than glue. It’s built to be serviced, not discarded; engineered to feel solid, quiet, and exact in every motion.
Awards & Recognition
Pact was well covered in the press and received awards for its novel design and concept.
